I was standing in front of 120 students in rural Tanzania, giving my very first keynote.

The notes of a psychology student filled with thoughts about behavior, change, and growth were coming into life.

That day, I talked about how we can turn bad behaviors into good ones. How reflection and small choices shape who we become.

Especially in difficult times.

Turned out the Tanzanian students are way better in dealing with challenges than us Westerners.

Becase they learned how to deal with uncertainty.

Uncertainty and constant change became my life in the last 10 years. I moved again. And again. I’ve now lived in five countries, learned to speak four languages fluently, and shaped a career around one central question:

How can we remain grounded when things are always changing — so that we can successfully manage uncertain times and support others as well?

Today, I work as a leadership and resilience trainer with a focus on culture and organizational citizenship behavior in my home of choice Austria and around Europe.
